Time Warner Cable shoving offers down your throat for services you already have
So this evening while catching up on Lost prior to this week’s finale I get a phone call from Time Warner Cable offering me a 30 day trial of 16 digital channels of HBO so my first response was “Uhm did you even bother looking at my account before you called?” and they stalled for a few moments so I added “because I already” have HBO, Starz, Showtime and whatever the other one is, “Well sir you are in our database as being eligible for this free trial, so again I replied “but I already have it, goodbye”, then they chimed in with “So would you like me to go ahead and add this option to your account” and I replied “NO! I told you I already have it, GOODBYE!” and hung up…
