Tomcat-User, female posters and abundance of help
Now don’t get me wrong the Tomcat-User mailing list is usually quite a helpful place to begin with but it certainly is amusing to watch all the replies to a post made by a female. Their question will end up getting answered many times over in short order and it isn’t hard to imagine why.
Hmmm maybe next time I have a curly question to ask I should create another Gmail account under a female alias and ask my question from there.

My PDA, battery life and volatile memory
I think my Ipaq (RX-3115) has annoyed me for the last time, I left it off for a few days with a full charge and came back to it this morning to discover the battery was dead and hence I had lost the contents of the memory again. Not a huge deal as I keep all my documents and stuff on my storage card plus sync it with two different computers but it is damn annoying having to set everything up again, install all your applications and set up the sync profiles with the computers.
I think it is time to look for a PDA with non-volatile memory for everything and that also has USB 2.0 (FW would be great but I’ve never heard of a PDA having it) so a full backup of it to my PC doesn’t take forever so has anyone got any recommendations on such a PDA?

Shooter: The Autobiography of the Top-Ranked Marine Sniper
Not the best written book but a damn good read so far, I got that into it that Megan got annoyed I wouldn’t put it down and play ball with her in the pool on the weekend!

Fixed a few things
Apparently Spam Karma was giving off some bad karma of it’s own and blocking a lot of valid stuff so I have upgraded that to Spam Karma 2, which seems a lot better based upon a few tests I did and also has much better configuration. Please let me know if you experience any problems posting comments from now on as I suspect that is one of the reasons comments are so few and far between around here!
I also fixed some breakage that was caused by living on the bleeding edge of Wordpress so now everything should be in working order once again.

MobLogging with Wordpress 1.5
After much hair pulling I am finally able to MobLog from my s710a to my Wordpress 1.5 blog and the above two posts are examples of this.
I ended up adapting this script to my needs, mainly just by extending it to create thumbnails for larger images so once I have done a code cleanup then I will post my modifications here, if you must have it right now then leave me a note to motivate me to clean up the code.

All the good ideas are taken
For the longest time now I have been wanting to run my own website and am just finding it near impossible to come up with an original idea or even unique variations on existing ideas as it seems every man, woman and their dog have been there done that.
I have good technical know how along with a bit of a creative flair but no ideas, what a dilemna!
