Just added wp-cache-2 to my arsenal of WP plugins
Just in case I somehow end up getting a deluge of hits for whatever reason I have just installed the excellent WP Cache 2 plugin so my pages are smartly cached for example by posting this post it will clear the appropriate caches allowing this post to appear instantly.
If anyone notices any weirdness caused by this please let me know although I’m not expecting any problems but it could well improve performance, which would be nice.
Okay now this is getting weird… I noticed the WP Cache plugin was not doing quite what I wanted and didn’t get along well with some of my other plugins plus it made Safari serve the Comments page as a file to download so I’ve disabled/deleted everything I can think of related to the plugin but it still seems to be having an effect somehow.
Maybe it is just my parent’s ISP using some funky transparent caching or something trying to screw with my mind…
After regaining my sanity in a bout of jet lag induced insomnia I have now re-enabled this plugin and it now seems to be working fine.
