[tag]mobile phone[/tag][tag]RAZR[/tag][tag]V3i[/tag]They just released details on the RAZR V3i, which is basically a RAZR with “an updated and streamlined design”, the iTunes thing that the ROKR has and a 1.23MP camera (1.23? I guess I can live without the extra 0.07 but why they did that is strange) so the RAZR V3i has everything I want excepting the QWERTY keyboard, which it seems isn’t going to come to a suitable phone in the forseeable future so I can overlook that.

Now when can I buy one of these baby’s on eBay?

For a cop to be in uniform and smoking in public is bad enough but for them to actually be on duty and performing their duty by interacting with consumers while smoking is just completely unacceptable. She was actually smoking in one hand and checking tickets with her other hand, totally unbelievable!

I forgot that after you upgrade PHP you must also recompile eAccelarator or nasty things happen like Apache refusing to start, but thanks to Tim that is all sorted now.

I never used to be able to watch much UFC in Australia but what I did see I liked a lot but over here I am seeing more and more UFC on TV and well the best fighter usually ends up losing so it is just frustrating as all heck. I say scrap the rounds system or keep the rounds but keep having rounds until a KO or TKO, this points system is nonsense for a full contact fight.

[tag]mobile phone[/tag]This time around I am looking for a phone that has a good camera, a QWERTY keyboard, Quad band, Bluetooth, EDGE and that doesn’t look butt ugly, although I could live with some degree of ugliness if it had all the other features.

The closest that comes to those needs is the LG VX9800, but it is CDMA! Come on LG how about hooking us up with a Quadband GSM version? The other contender is the Samsung D307 but it doesn’t have a camera, WTF Samsung?

I mainly want such a phone so I can moblog easier with the QWERTY keyboard, if you are wondering why.

[tag]UFC[/tag]Well technically Joe did win on points but the winner of the fight was clearly Luke, one more round and Joe would have been knocked out. Oh well hats off to him as he did what he needed to do in the time he had to do it and that is all that matters at the end of the day.

[tag]paintball[/tag]After finally getting to try paintball for the first time about 6 weeks ago, we are going again tomorrow but unlike last time I won’t have to borrow all my gear (although I did really appreciate borrowing all of Ed’s gear, so thanks Ed!) as last night we went on a little shopping expedition to Academy!

I now have:

• Mask + goggles
• gloves
• knee pads (so next time I slide behind cover on my knees I don’t leave my skin on the ground)
• protective camo vest
• paintball cannisters to carry spare rounds in the vest
• neck protector
• a case to carry it all in
• and most importantly my own gun err I mean marker with two barrels (12 & 16 inch, both stock will upgrade to a better sniper barrel for next time), hopper (just stock for now will get electronic for next time) and a tank

Now watch me get my butt kicked even though I have all my own gear!

[tag]wordpress[/tag]It seems there is a Wordpress bug hunt scheduled for this Saturday, did nobody realize that it is already Thursday and most people already have their weekends planned by now? I know the devs have been talking about having such a bug hunt for a while now so why not give more notice?

What is it about this week that is causing there to be so many repeats on TV? Is it just because the NBA is starting up again this week or what?

I will sleep much better tonight knowing such an evil criminal is behind bars!

In the meantime isn’t there rapists and murderers that need arresting?
