What: Houston Australian Rules Football fans & enthusiasts getting together to kick a footy around and maybe have a game with the goal to start getting a feel of whether there is sufficient demand to start a Houston based team. BBQ qill be catered for but drinks are BYO.
When: 11:00am April 8th

[tag]The Apprentice[/tag]Sometimes I wonder just what goes through Trump’s head in some of these board room decisions, yes it was kind of debatable that Lenny’s idea was a little off for the commercial but as Dan said the team approved of that so you can’t blame Lenny for just putting an idea out there. The executives stated it was a hard decision and from what they were saying it was the lack of the voice over that caused Gold Rush to lose and just who was it that suggested they get rid of the text overlay and use a voice over instead? Lenny’s of course so why should have Lenny been brought into the board room again?

Dan may not have been the best project manager in the world but Tarek was the one that deserved to go, it is kind of amusing just how many geniuses lack any common sense, it kind of makes you wander if the definition of genius is a little off…

The Dallas Magpies Australian Rules Football Club is holding an informal & fun footy game in Houston’s Memorial Park on the 8th April and if you want to see what Australian Rules Football is all about then this is a prime opportunity to come out and watch or even play!

I’ll be there along with at least another fellow Aussie friend plus probably some of our mountain bike team so come out and join us for a good time! I’m sure there will be an Aussie style BBQ and other Australian related fun, plus us Aussies are a friendly bunch so you can’t lose! The details of the day are still being finalized so once they are I will post them here.

[tag]Houston[/tag]It seems to get anywhere in Houston you need to take a freeway to get there, can I asky why? A city the size of Houston does not need so many damn freeways, have you ever wondered why traffic is so bad here? Then look no further than the number of freeways within the city of Houston, freeways are designed to move masses of cars over long distances and when you throw in too many exits causing merge after merge, guess what happens to traffic flow? That problem is compounded by the number of stupid drivers that don’t understand the concept of merging here and the number of selfish people that try to make up time by zooming up a lane that is clear as it is about to merge.

Where are all the highways with monitored traffic lights to ensure the smooth flow of traffic?
