		<description>Being a Houston native I can tell you it's always been this way. The civil engineers in this city feel like the way to solve the traffic problem is to add more lanes, when in reality the way to solve it is to have public transportation.

The problem with that is the places like Sugar Land (where I'm from), Post Oak, etc. are rich and snobby and don't want anything that might bring a "lesser" element into their parts of town. We could have easily had an EL type system in this town, but no one wants to spend the money and no one wants it to distract from the look of their city (which it doesn't).</description>
